Dr. Sergey Filippov |

Dr. Sergey Filippov (1979) is an assistant professor of innovation management at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. In 2005-2009 he was a doctoral fellow at UNU-MERIT, a research and training center of the United Nations and Maastricht University. A PhD degree in economics and business was awarded by the University of Maastricht. He holds a Master’s degree in Management of the European Metropolitan Region from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and an Executive Master’s degree in International and European Relations from the University of Amsterdam. In his current position, he teaches project management at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervises graduate master’s thesis projects. His academic research is tri-dimensional as it involves innovation management / management of technology, international business, and project management. Specifically, his research encompasses interfaces between these three dimensions, such as globalisation of innovation, European and national innovation and investment policies, corporate innovation strategies, emerging multinational companies and technology, management of innovation in projects. He has published several international refereed articles and book chapters, and presented his research findings in various international academic and practitioner conferences in Europe, America and South-East Asia. |
