We are working on design of imaging/therapeutic probes that selectively reach the target reducing side effects of therapy and enhancing image contrast. Combination of new agents with traditional tools is a promising strategy to create tailored therapies with the ability to simultaneously diagnose and treat diseases.

Designed targeting vectors that recognize specific epitopes on the diseased tissues facilitate local delivery of imaging/therapeutic probe.

Another key aspects in our research is to explore the diversity of lanthanides in combination with their chemical similarities. This determines the final application of the probe for one or more imaging modalities and/or therapy.
