Starting date is not later than September 1, 2018. Deadline for applications: March 15, 2018. After that the vacancy will be open until the position is filled.
- Excellent Master students who are close to finishing and wish to pursue a PhD in the area of operator algebras.
- You have successfully followed courses in advanced functional analysis or operator algebras. Further background in for example representation theory, abstract harmonic analysis, Lie theory and advanced group theory (geometric, combinatorical, measurable group theory) would further support your application.
- Obviously you like doing mathematics and you will spend 4 years in which you will develop yourself into a mathematical researcher and will be enrolled in teaching activities.
