Summary. The uniform motion of a constant load along an infinite string on equidistant supports is considered. All supports are the same and each one possesses visco-elastic and inertia properties. It is shown that in steady-state regime the load radiates a discrete spectrum of harmonics. If the group velocity of a harmonic is equal to the velocity of the load, the resonance takes place in the system. The expression is obtained for an average (with respect to the space period of the system) radiation reaction acting on the load.
